We enable couples having trouble conceiving to proactively assess and treat male factor conditions. We have assembled a team of national experts to support men from initial conception planning to life impacting decisions. Today 1 in 6 couples has trouble conceiving and in more than 50% of the cases a male factor is involved. Male fertility issues frequently go undiagnosed and untreated. Just as all women are treated by physicians with specialized gynecologic training and expertise, we believe men deserve treatment from male fertility specialists. Our goal is to proactively work with men to facilitate the birth of a healthy child as easily and inexpensively as possible! Posterity Health offers male fertility expertise through a combination of virtual visits, at home diagnostics, and in-person consults. We partner with Fertility Centers, OB/GYNS and Primary Care Providers to unify the experts. Perhaps you are a passionate expert to help us achieve this important mission. Assist Couples in Building a Family By guiding through a critical step in their fertility journey. Qualifiers Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant medical office experience 2+ years surgery scheduling experience, preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong emotional intelligence Agile and even tempered in face changing daily demands. Demonstrated client care/service presence. Strong affinity for respect, inclusion, integrity, team, and excellence Key Skills: Customer (patient) service Customer communication, scheduling, case management and coordination (detail oriented) Client & channel partner management and impact Ability to operate in an unstructured and evolving business environment. Responsibilities: Engage patients and guide them through their fertility procedure experience. Complete the insurance pre-authorization process for the procedure. Schedule the procedure with the preferred fertility center, surgery center and anesthesia team Obtain patient consent and advise patient on surgery process, what to expect etc. Collect patient responsibility. Coordinate insurance benefits and/or work with cross-functional team members to achieve. Organize surgeon preference cards and tray set needs for existing and new surgery centers. Work with implementation and account manager team members to support smooth fertility and surgery center on-boarding.
