As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Renton, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communication, upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a dedicated team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols for the aerospace and defense location.
• Document and report any observations or incidents according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Work closely with site personnel and law enforcement as necessary to address security-related concerns within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
