As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout a government location. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with visitors and staff, address incidents as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the government location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Interact professionally with the public, staff, and visitors while upholding the rules and regulations of the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Operate communication devices and other equipment as needed for patrol and incident response.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as requested and authorized by site management.
• Follow all protocols for armed patrol, including the proper handling and securing of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
