Summary:
The Office Assistant II (Facilities - Mailroom) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the mailroom and facilities department. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and interoffice deliveries, while maintaining compliance with organizational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Operate mailroom equipment (postage machines, copiers, scanners).
  • Maintain inventory of mailroom and office supplies.
  • Assist with facilities-related tasks such as office moves, furniture setup, and minor maintenance.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and pickups.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive documents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mailroom or office support preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
