Actively Hiring Assembler

Actively hiring in the Pottstown/Royersford area for a full time and long term opportunity with this manufacturing company. The assembler is responsible for performing essential manufacturing activities, including the production and inspection of products to ensure they meet customer requirements. This role involves soldering, simple cable assembly, and connector operations to build high-quality products. The associate will convert raw materials into finished products, build products to standard rate, and complete in-process inspections while interfacing with computer software for documentation and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing activities to produce and inspect products meeting customer requirements.
• Conduct soldering, simple cable assembly, and connector operations to create high-quality products.
• Convert raw materials into finished products and build them to standard rates.
• Read job orders for product specifications and complete in-process inspections.
• Interface with computer software for finding documents and data entry.
• Build simple point-to-point cables by following drawings and instructions with high quality and productivity.
• Properly use basic hand tools, such as soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saws, rulers, and microscope/magnifier.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to the building of assemblies.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly and use of hand tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in soldering and ability to measure accurately using rulers or tape measures.
• Willingness and ability to cross-train and adapt to various processes.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and document retrieval.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
